The IRONMAN Group today announced that Lahti, Finland has secured the right to host the 2023 IRONMAN® 70.3® World Championship, a two-day event that will take place on August 26-27, 2023. Ironman 70.3 Worlds returns to US in 2017
IRONMAN have announced that the 2017 IRONMAN® 70.3® World Championship triathlon will be held in the United States. Three cities, all of which currently host IRONMAN® or IRONMAN® 70.3® races, have been named as the finalists in the selection process – Chattanooga (Tennessee), Lake Placid (New York) and St. George (Utah). In addition, the 2017 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship will be a two-day event – with the professional women and age group women racing on one day and the professional men and age group men racing on the other. Lanzarote’s first IM 70.3
A fantastic opportunity to watch a world class event right on your door step, which was hosted by CLS (Club La Santa) I could not sleep with excitement and knowing myself what that feels like for the athletes taking part in competitions it’s a right buzz. A well organized event and really enjoyed watching the professional athletes and friends that had taken part in Lanzarote’s first IM 70.3 and with usual weather conditions for here windy and sunny would have made this a tough event.
